Moss View - Skywatch Friday

I've featured the view of the Steam Museum Tower from Waterman's park before, as well as from some other vantage points.

This time I thought I'd share with you the results from a "lets-try-something-different" weekend photo-stroll through Waterman's Park.

It was this past Saturday, a bright sunny day and a treat to be out enjoying the much missed bright sunlight, the blue skies featured so wonderfully between the moody clouds. Of course it's not quite spring yet, so this merely a tantalising glimpse of what is yet to come. A little taste, offering hope, to sustain me for a few more weeks before the reward of the long awaited arrival of spring.

I'm looking forward to that, you might have gathered and think of all the wonderful photo opportunities. After all, spring in the UK is a very special time. Until then, enjoy some more lets-try-something-different pics.

Great take on skywatch. Moss is a great subject for photographing, but usually unnoticed. You have shown it up well here.

I'll tune in for more in the summertime.

I love that image with the grass. Great perspective.

Love the angle you have shot from in the first couple.

The sky gradually retreated in your series, I do like the brick wall and the planter with its strange green plants.

I love your "let's do something different"! And I love your photos as always! Don't give up, spring will get there! Although it has really teased us here in the northwest with warmer than usual weather, flowers and trees blooming and then last night it dropped into the 30s, the rain is back, the grumpy gray skies are back! So, while I'm telling you to hang in there, I'm having to do the same for me!!! Have a great weekend, Rob!

Hi Rob! great mossy pics. I've been catching up due to a long blogging absence, and have enjoyed the grey skies/blue skies, art galleries, museums and apartments in the skies! Hope you two and the kitties are keeping very well :)
